ABOUT US
Hi, our names are Aimee and Erik, together we are Aussie Outdoor Kids.
Some of the things we like about adventures are doing fun activities like abseiling and rock climbing. We also enjoy exploring various nature-based sites. We have being going on adventures ever since we were little thanks to our parents idea to introduce us to bushwalks. One example of this is when they sat us in a backpack with a seat and went on bushwalks.

Through this, we have learnt various skills like, climbing, swimming, survival, navigation and overall how to have fun!
​
In the future we would like to take our adventures around the world but it is always good to start close to home. We also make sure to always respect our environment by not leaving rubbish behind and we try not to disturb its natural state.
​
By releasing our adventures we hope to encourage more people to go out and explore the world and teach people new skills by providing information and guidance to people fairly new to the outdoor environment. In doing so we hope to help them build the confidence and abilities to further explore the many wonders available to them.

As a result, much of the information in the early Sections of the website may be considered very basic to the more experienced adventurer. However, any comments or suggestions to improve the information provided is always most welcome.
​
For those just starting out, we strongly suggest that you read through the information provided and pay particular attention to the section on Safety and Basic Navigation before heading out to explore the great outdoors.
​
The sense of achievement in planning and successfully undertaking new challenges can be a very fulfilling experience. A large part of that can be overcoming the potential risks involved.
​
However, please always remember that you need to take responsibility for yourself and your group. Only you can ensure your own safety. If you cannot or will not accept this, then DO NOT GO.
