NATIONAL PARKS & CONSERVATION
Introduction
On the Central Coast, and throughout Australia, we are incredibly lucky to have large areas of natural bush land and waterways protected and preserved as National Parks.
These Parks provide great areas for recreation, relaxation, education and exploration. They provide a sanctuary for native flora and fauna and incorporate many culturally significant sites.
As Aussie Outdoor Kids, a significant number of our adventures take place within areas of National Parks and we are extremely grateful to have these wonderful resources at our door step on the Central Coast. We always ask that you respect the areas through which you travel and help preserve and protect them for all to enjoy.
The following are some ideas and guidelines when in National Parks:

ACCESS GATES
Please do not block gates (even if they are locked) as these provide access for emergency services and NPWS personnel.

FLORA AND FAUNA
Please remember that all Flora and Fauna is protected.

PETS
Please do not take pets into National Parks - it is an offense to do so.

FIRES AND FIRE BANS
Please follow the rules relating to fires and fire bans.

PRESERVATION
Please take you rubbish with you and do not graffiti or vandalise areas. Please report incidents to NPWS.

CULTURAL SITES
Please do not interfere with, walk or ride over, or otherwise damage, Aboriginal Sites - it is an offense to do so and very significant fines can be imposed.

NATIVE ANIMALS
Please do not feed native animals.

MINIMIAL IMPACT
Please respect the environment and take all possivble steps to minimise your impact.
